Biography

Derrick Brown joined Boeing in 2015 where he has held positions in aerodynamics & propulsion, aircraft configuration design, and as Capture Team Lead in business development. He has supported F/A-18, MQ-25A, T-X, & several proprietary programs within the Phantom Works Fixed Wing division. Derrick earned his Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Georgia Tech and his Executive Master’s in International Business from Saint Louis University.
 
Derrick and his wife Kayla, both Georgia natives, live in Olivette, Missouri with their daughter, Julia, and their dog, Navier-Stokes. In his free time Derrick enjoys attending sporting events in Saint Louis, learning/implementing personal finance techniques (he loves The Money Guy podcast), and he plans to pursue his private pilot’s license in the near future.
